Hello, Ecommerce Operations Managers!

I'm Kenneth, the Head of People at Ultimate Beauty, an e-commerce company primarily selling through Amazon and similar channels. We've experienced rapid growth (gt;200% YoY growth, three years in a row), transforming into a $20M run-rate company (from 2 to 55 people).

Our ideal Ecommerce Operations Manager is an excellent strategist and executioner with a keen understanding of the e-commerce landscape. You're a relationship builder, adept at forging strong connections with partners and stakeholders. Culturally aware and at ease in a diverse, remote team, you possess an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a high-growth environment, dedicated to driving results.

This role is a full-time remote position.

Location: Europe

Salary: $4,000 - $6,000 / month

Requirements

We are looking for an Ecommerce Operations Manager specifically with these requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics/supply chain, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
  • Demonstrable experience with international market expansion and product category development.
  • Proven track record in building, managing, and growing teams, coupled with the ability to inspire and lead.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Forecasting and sales planning knowledge.
  • Ability to read and understand financial/sales metrics and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for making data-driven decisions.
  • Leadership mindset with a strong sense of integrity and high emotional intelligence.

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience navigating import / export regulations
  • Experience with marketplace selling (E.g. Amazon etc)
  • Experience with worldwide shipping and international logistics contracts Fedex, UPS, etc.
  • Strong local market network in EU and US market



Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

1. Expanding business to new markets

  • Market analysis -gt; Identify and prioritize top markets based on potential and complexity
  • Investigate and solve challenges related to legal regulations, customs, logistics
  • Rapid testing to validate learnings and hypothesis
  • Establish and grow business

2. Expanding product offering

  • Identify and prioritize new product categories
  • Identify and validate potential suppliers
  • Investigate and solve challenges related to legal regulations, customs, logistics
  • Rapid testing to validate learnings and hypothesis
  • Establish and grow revenue

3. Diversifying to additional marketplaces

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new marketplaces
  • Establish and grow revenue

4. Establishing and leading the Expansion / BD department

5. Leadership Team Member
